Quran Courses Online at Quran Mentorship
Most students start here, and for good reason. Before Tajweed rules can be applied and before memorization can begin, a student needs to be able to read the Quran correctly — with the right letters, the right sounds, and the right flow.
This course starts from the foundations. Students learn to recognize Arabic letters, understand how they join, and build toward reading Quranic text smoothly and accurately. The tutor corrects pronunciation in real time during every live session, which is where this format has a clear advantage over any recorded course — errors get caught and fixed before they become habits.
The course works for complete beginners and equally for students who have been reading for years but know their recitation has gaps. Both situations are common, and both are addressed in how the course is structured.
This is one of our core Live Quran Courses, available for younger students, adults, and ladies. For a full breakdown of what is covered lesson by lesson, visit the Quran Recitation Course page.

A common question students ask before starting is whether it is even realistic to learn proper Quran recitation through online classes. It is a fair question. If you want a direct answer to it, this blog post on whether it is possible to learn the Quran online addresses it properly. And if you want to know what actually happens inside a class session once you start, this post on what you do in a Quran class gives you a clear picture.

Quran Memorization
Completing Hifz — memorizing the entire Quran — is one of the most significant goals a Muslim can pursue. It is also one that requires a structure built around the individual student, not a fixed syllabus that assumes everyone retains at the same speed.
At Quran Mentorship, the memorization program does not work from a rigid week-by-week schedule. The tutor tracks new sabaq, old sabaq revision, and dhor based on how the student is actually progressing in real time. If a particular surah or section is taking longer to retain, the tutor holds there and reinforces it before moving forward. If a student is retaining well and consistently, the pace adjusts accordingly. The goal is accurate, durable memorization — not reaching a certain point by a certain date.
Live Quran Courses are particularly well suited to Hifz for one straightforward reason: the tutor is listening to the student recite from memory every single session. Errors that slip in get caught immediately, before they solidify. This is something no self-study method or recorded course can genuinely replicate.
A question that comes up often is whether Hifz is actually achievable through online classes, especially for adults who assume it is only realistic for children. We have written directly about this — the blog post on whether it is possible to do Hifz online covers the honest answer. Similarly, if you are wondering whether you can memorize the Quran at your current age or stage of life, that post addresses the question without overpromising.
For families thinking about enrolling younger children specifically, this post on the age limit for Quran Hifz is worth reading before starting. And for those asking how to become a Hafiz while studying from home, this post on becoming a Quran Hafiz at home explains the process practically.
For a full outline of how the course is structured, who it suits, and what to expect in the first few weeks, the Quran Memorization Course page covers all of it.
Quran with Tajweed
Reading the Quran and reading it correctly are two different things. Most Muslims who read regularly are applying some Tajweed rules instinctively — picked up from listening, from childhood lessons, from years of practice. But applying them accurately and consistently, across all the different rules and letter combinations, is a different matter entirely and it requires deliberate, structured study.
This course covers all the major Tajweed rules in sequence — the rules of noon sakinah and tanween, the rules of meem sakinah, characteristics of letters, elongation rules, and the correct way to stop and start. What makes it work as a live course is the correction that happens during every session. The tutor listens to the student recite, identifies exactly which rules are not being applied or are being applied incorrectly, and addresses them directly. Students leave each session with specific, concrete improvements — not just a broader understanding of rules in theory.
This course suits students who already read the Quran but want to bring their recitation up to a proper standard. It also works alongside the Recitation Course for students who want to develop both fluency and correctness at the same time.
Students often ask whether Tajweed is something that can realistically be learned without a teacher, or whether online learning is enough. Both are fair questions. This post on whether you can learn Tajweed on your own gives an honest answer. And if you are wondering how to learn the Quran with Tajweed specifically — what the process actually looks like from the beginning — that post walks through it clearly.
Another question that comes up, particularly from students working on memorization at the same time, is whether it is possible to memorize the Quran without Tajweed. That post addresses the question directly and practically.

Who These Courses Are For?
These Quran Courses Online are built for different types of students — because the people who come to Quran Mentorship are genuinely different from one another.
Â
1. Children and younger students need shorter sessions, more repetition, and a tutor who knows how to pace a class for a young learner without making it feel like pressure. Our tutors who work with kids are selected specifically for this. If you are enrolling a child, the page for our online Quran classes for kids covers how those sessions work in detail. And if you are wondering what age is the right time to start, this blog post on what age a child should learn Quran gives a clear, practical answer.
Â
2. Adult learners are a significant part of our student base. Many adults come to these Live Quran Courses as complete beginners — people who never had structured Quran education as children, or who learned in a way that left significant gaps. There is no judgment in how these sessions are run. You start exactly where you are. Our adult Quran classes page explains how the courses are adapted for adult learners specifically. If you are asking yourself how to start the Quran as a beginner, that post is a good starting point before you book anything.
Â
3. Sisters and ladies who specifically need a female Quran tutor have a fully dedicated program here. All sessions are one-to-one, private, and conducted by qualified female instructors. The ladies’ Quran classes page covers everything about how those sessions are arranged.
Why Live Quran Courses Work Better
There is no shortage of online Quran platforms. Apps, recorded courses, group classes — all of them exist, and some of them have their uses. But none of them function the way a live, one-to-one session with a real tutor does. Here is why that difference matters.
Â
1. Mistakes are caught immediately. In a live session, the moment a student mispronounces a letter or misapplies a Tajweed rule, the tutor addresses it. In a recorded course, that same error gets repeated every time the student reads — until they either notice it themselves or someone eventually corrects them. Most of the time, neither happens quickly.
2. The course moves at your pace. A live tutor adjusts to the student in front of them. If something needs more time, it gets more time. If a student is progressing faster than expected, the sessions move accordingly. No algorithm or fixed curriculum does this.
3. Accountability is real. There is a genuine difference between showing up for a scheduled class with a tutor waiting and opening an app when you feel like it. Students in live classes make more consistent progress — not because they are more motivated, but because the structure itself creates consistency.
4. Tutors are qualified, not just experienced. Every tutor at this academy holds formal Quranic education credentials and is assessed on their ability to teach — not just their knowledge. If you want to know more about the people behind these courses, our Quran teachers page introduces the team.

If you are still weighing up whether online Quran classes are the right route, this post on whether online Quran classes are actually good addresses the question honestly — including what to look for and what to avoid.
